Invigorated 01:51
So this is, this is the end Deception finally deceived itself Broken pieces of the dreams we lived Choked on our own lies, choked on ourselves As I look down on the ruins we created Inevitable from day one My ship won’t drown, my ship won’t drown In this maelstrom that has become of our dreams But I walk invigorated, fearless Cause every failure is just another lesson to learn But I walk fearless, invigorated Cause every breakdown is just another reason to get up again
2.
Praise the lords of deception, blind disciples Close your eyes to the truth, never question any of their answers Your ideology destroys what hands and hearts have built up I will not fall...I will not fall prey to your lies! NO! Derive your faith from the colors of this flag From the stories of your fathers But know, only your own actions Are accountable for your pride No tolerance for your hatred One nation under god, one nation above all No tolerance for your hatred Causeless racial superiority No tolerance for your hatred Blind disciples till the end No silence when they march, no quantum appreciation Bear in mind commencements, no more silence, no tolerance

My apology 02:36
Take these words as what they are; I know they can’t heal any scars Cut so many years ago to the ones that I once cherished All these words that I could say, does it matter any way? If I say, I’m sorry, I regret This is my apology You might not remember, you might have learned to forget As days passed by and seasons changed But in these sleepless nights I lie awake And I still do remember, I still regret It may take a million years for such simple words So hard to speak All these words that I could say, does it matter any way? If I say, I’m sorry, I regret I never want to be like this again, rewind those years, start over again Would I rethink, would I change my ways, alter our paths or still be the same?

Shine 03:27
This night, never ending, I feel it crawling up inside of me and there's no way out All my weakness, all my fears coming to the surface, this time I'm on my knees and I'll never get up again I slowly feel the weight on my chest increasing with every breath I take so desperately and there's no way out This time I'm on my knees and there s no way out But with this last spark of hope Cause inside of me there is a spark that never dies I'm not afraid, I'm not afraid of the paths ahead of me I'll never close my eyes, never block my ears, I'll never sit still with my hands tied on my back Even if this means I'll have to walk alone, I know at least I'll take these steps on my own This dawn will break and I will rise Rise above my mistakes This dawn will break and I will shine, shine on Though I may stumble, I will not fall This dawn will break and I will shine, shine on This dawn will break and we will shine, shine on

Walking these city streets, familiar for so many years But never felt like home, never felt like home Where the heart dwells, where the mind rests, where the time flies resting in contentment This place has never felt like home to me! Faceless hollow shells, faithless dull eyes Caged in these city walls forever and a day From the first day to the last day I will fight this numbness Till my last step, I will strive - till my last breath I will strive Still searching, still striving, a progression for more Still searching, still striving, so much more to come Still searching, still striving, for a place called home Still searching, still striving, deadlock equals death I have nothing in common with you
8.
...and if these hands could only change How many times have I listened to your mourning How many times have you poured out your untouched plans But I, I don't want to be the man who always tells the stories Of the demons he never even dared to challenge Strength – to change the things one can Serenity – to accept those that one can't Wisdom – to know the difference Courage – to take the first step Where are the builders? where are the visionaries? Wake from dormancy and become the builder of your own dreams It’s better to fail than never try at all You can't procrastinate your life forever Rather die on my feet than live on my knees I won't hold back my dreams forever It’s in your hands to give these days worth It’s in your heart to take the first step Every word every action has the power to last So make it fucking count!

about

---------------------------------------------
Thank you for downloading our EP "...but I walk...fearless...invigorated..."!

We are Archway and we have been a band from 2006 to 2010. These are our last songs we'd like to share with you.
In the beginning, Archway has been a side project – meanwhile we’ve experienced more than we’ve ever dreamed of. Ddue to various small and big reasons we've realized, we can’t put as much into Archway as we’d like to. Therefore, we decided to call it quits.

If you like what you hear, spread the word and let your friends know about these songs. Maybe try to check out our full length "Face Your Demons" that we've released a couple of years ago through Fields of Hope Records / Shave the Area Records. It should be in some distros or at least somewhere around the internet...

We‘d like to express our sincere gratitude to those who came along our way in these past years putting up a show, giving us a place to sleep or some food, singing along, listening to our songs or supporting us in any other way - Thank you!
